Does anyone have any photos of the factory spec windscreen wash bottle and bracket location & set up they could share with me please. I have what I believe is a custom billet Ali bottle, but have a seized riv nut bolt that attaches the base of the battery bracket and wash bottle to the floor, so want to consider my options for a re-design.
Many thanks.

Height of washer bottle is crucial, otherwise the front clam won't close...... Don't ask me how I know this..... :-)

Many thanks everyone. Mine is slightly different with a solid ali billet bottle on the battery side. One of 7litrebig's original custom parts on his built car seen below here:

My brake fluid reservoir is further outboard so no room for the wash bottle in the factory position. Never mind, the perfectionist in me was brainstorming all possible solutions as one of my floor mounting rivnuts has come loose, the bolt just spins but does not loosen and will not unscrew out now, but still able to just about take battery out if and when I need to, plus all is secure rock solid when all other bolts are tightened down so I will leave alone for now. I'm not starting any pig of a job over Christmas, in a cold garage, and unfinished as I am back at work overseas again next week.

I was thinking the same. Although I did not build my car, I appreciate the work and consideration that has to go in to every little build task to getting a final well built car.

Alu tanks look lovely. Just watch you don't use methanol based screen wash with an alu tank. Using it neat in an aluminium tank allegedly does something nasty to the tank.... I learnt this when using methonal screen wash for dual purpose for water/meth injection on another project, Can't say ive experienced it first hand. Some nonsense trivia for you....
Anyway here is my tank, I believe its a run of the mill generic tank. Same one in my mates beetle based Doon buggy, depending onthis thread I may update it! the cable tie is to stop it being bumped out of its mount.... so not ideal.

Here we are.... Functional, I can say that... £25 quid including pump! Id say this is the IVA emergency screenwash kit.... wink Bet your ally tank cost a bit more than that!
