Can anyone recommend an electronic heater control valve to use instead of the standard factory supplied cable operated valve? (UK based)

ETS US but they deliver quick and reliable.
I would go with the 4 port valve offered by oldairproducts and install it in the engine bay. This way the hot coolant won't reach the side pod and radiate heat when you don't want or need the heat. I installed the 4 port manual cable control valve from oldairproducts and it works great. Note: with the LS engine you need continuous coolant flow as well, so when the value is off the coolant is returned.
