It sounds like you are looking at the wrong switch, they can come with a variety of switch blocks (or none at all).You need a clip on switch block that goes with the switch (it slides over and locks on to give more poles. I think you can get momentary and latching.
I plan to put my hazard switch in the roof panel (rectangular plate with 3 holes) and so need something that is flush fit and fairly shallow.
So I would need a small flush fit single pole switch that would operate a double pole type relay. Similar to this...

you need the six pole savage switch for hazard , the six pin connection mounts on the two pin switch.
