I've begun fitting my side pods back on the car and am wondering about a positioning issue with the a/c hoses (and heater hoses on the other side). Do the hoses go below the side pod "tongue", as I have them here, or above it?

I searched all the photos from my build, and I found this one - I hope it helps.

That definitely helps, thanks. Above it is!

On mine both the aircon and the water hoses are under - this seemed the logical route to me - was I wrong ?

So I've just been out and moved the pipes and now I've put them back below. For me below is better, not saying above is wrong but for me its better under the dash, could be because I'm using a Tech2 Dash and AB loom but above makes under the dash cluttered..... Just my opinion specific to my build, wow my build really is bespoke nerd

My build is not visible (moving), but if I recall the pipes pass under so they are more directly positioned for the luggage pods.

Under made more sense to me, too, if only with regards to extra clearance for the center section.

What to do? What to do?

Totally agree Daniel - thought I'd got it wrong but it does make more sense - the hose fixings are minimal, less stress on the heater connections and less cable ties and straps to hold the pipes in place - for me and my setup the more I can keep from under the dash the better. Nothing wrong with Kelvins setup, just doesn't work for me.

My hoses are above as on the build manual, I checked yesterday and the space between the frame and the cockpit body is very small. It seems that the hoses would be clamped when the cockpit is in place, at least on my build.
