Hi Dom, glad to hear you're now considering keeping your car. Very interesting valuation from the factory! As you'll appreciate, the valuation means very little, it's all down to what someone is prepared to pay, but still quite reassuring? I regularly keep an eye on the market and have to say, it seems the residual values are on the increase for older cars. As you know, mine was the very first factory built GTR and I intend to keep it probably until I'm too old and incapable of getting in and out of it, or if my circumstances change considerably. The reason is very simple and as you've pointed out, the earlier SBC cars are 'very' powerful and yet quite simple and cost effective to maintain. You'll also be hard pushed to find anything else with anywhere near the performance of an Ultima GTR for similar or less money. And you know you'll regret selling it.
