First I was playing with the idea of supercharging my engine but now I'm thinking about throwing
something exotic in my car.

What do you guys think about the market for a 383 SBC Amerspeed with about 4800 miles on it including exhaust, pumps,...
everyting to replace it in another Ultima. It is the Amerspeed 535hp version in perfect condition. The engine never missed a beat.

Would there still be intrest in this package and if yes what
would be a reasonable price ?

If there's anybody out there that is building on a budget always prepared to listen to your offer.

the 383 small block chevy is a great engine would fit lots of different cars ,cobra,s gt40,s as well as yank,s and some exotic stuff, would sell into an open market i.e ebay, pistonheads kit car mags etc just the engine with all the ancillarys .should fetch about £3000 to £4000 , leave it in and running to a purchaser this is a must ,get a good deposit £1000 and do the deal ,regarding the rest of the bits sell seperatly on pistonheads.good luck -jmwram

Best to aim at the open market as an Ultima build would need an engine remanufactured to an as new condition. It would not go down well if they checked the engine number and found it previously fitted to another Ultima.
