Hello all, I have heard that there was once/could still be some heated windscreens for the Ultima GTR. Has anyone heard of these or got one themselves?

Any idea if the factory produces them?

Thanks

I don't think there are any available now.

Give Richard a call to find out the Factory position.

A heated screen is a great option. I had one in my Alpine A110 many years ago. My wife had one also in her more recent Renault Megane. Works perfect in winter to melt the ice and remove mist on the inside of the screen.

Mine has a heated windscreen.

Really clears quickly when compared with vents (my previous Ultima had these).

Martin.

We sell a heated windscreen for the Ultima.
Just contact the factory for details and to place your order.

Regards to all,
I didn't know but it's good to know.
Not necessary for a Can-Am but if I was building a GTR instead, it would certainly be an option I would consider.

Regards to all,
Who manufactures the glass? And which type of terminals do they have?

+1

in fact i'd be tempted to do away with the fan + heater and related gubbins. I have never got cold in my sport and I don't think I have ever used the fan to clear the screen. Or for anything thinking about it...

Come on Richard. What else are you hiding from us?

How about sending current owners/builders a list of everything you can do. Especially all those little 'extras'.

Over to you Richard.

I believe they are extremely busy. I made a reservation for some work on my car & the earliest date is in 10 months time.

Hear, hear. The fact that there doesn't appear to be a single, comprehensive options list is frustrating to builders and undoubtedly impacting revenues. However well things are presently going with the business, a few tweaks to procedure, documentation, and marketing would likely result in real gains.

FWIW, this is the first I've ever heard of a heated windscreen being available for the GTR.
