One thing I've only just noticed is the weight stated - 950kg.....

Is this Richard just after writing the press release?

950kg is 100% correct as a dry weight for the 1020bhp supercharged Ultima Evolution Coupe demo car.
The LS powered Evo Coupe built to factory specification with air con and all the usual Ultima trim is 930kg.

On the subject of weight just a little point to demonstrate how the Ultima has evolved:

The dry weight of a pre 2013 manufactured LS powered Ultima GTR was 930kg.
The dry weight of a 2013 onwards LS powered Ultima GTR was 939kg as 9kg was added (21 new chassis members) to make a 553% torsional rigidity improvement on the pre 2013 chassis.

Enter the Ultima Evolution which now has lightweight forged wheels (8kg lighter) and we are now back to a 931kgs dry weight as well as having the 553% stiffer chassis PLUS the weight saving is made in the un-sprung weight of the vehicle.

This is just one more minor item to demonstrate how the Ultima has been vastly improved yet retains the same level of price point.

Richard,

Would you mind posting the weights of these new wheels? I think that would be of interest to quite a few, with a worthwhile loss of weight.
Rear Ultima Evo spec forged wheel- 10kg each
Front Ultima Evo spec forged wheel- 8kg each

In addition to the 8kg unsprung weight saving on the new Evo wheels there is also a further 1.5kg unsprung weight saving per car set from the new design Ultima Evolution wheel nuts.

Regards to all,
