Saw that a bit ago. Apparently Lawrence's old Porsche powered Ultima is being used to shill headlight ring now. frown

I think if it was done in moderation, perhaps the top 2 only and not in a horrific colour, it wouldn't look bad.

But that is not good.

What a rip off £244.00

£10.00 from China (which is where these probably come from anyway).

We could slap each other (but probably should not) as I like them as well. Pure white preferably.
But in this regard, are the Evo lighting 'pods' compatible with the GTR? Is the cost and swap straightforward? Driving such a cool car with such dull and yellowed headlights is just wrong.

Add HIDs like a few have done. Fairly cheap and amazing difference.

I think you need the new light pod to fit the LED lights.

Richard said they are about £1200 a set......

Given the estimated price cited by Storer, I likely will. I'll have to look more closely in to the model/install process. I was hoping for a more simple plug and play process but I guess not.

Take old h7 bulb out.
Put HID bulb in.
Mount ballast.
Connect supplied wires, job done.

The HID kits are very very simple to fit

The sidedlight bulbs are standard quarter turn from the holder and either quarter turn or bayonet from the back of the headlight. The main beam bulbs are simple old bulb removal and fit the new bulb. The dip beams use the HID kit. Again the bulbs are a straight swop. The ballast or starter kit just fits with double sided tape inside the back of the headlight clam as shown on confusion hunters post under light bulbs, very simple installation with full instructions.
Regarding the daytime running lights these fit in the small lower grills under the headlights. If anyone wants photos or some more detailed instructions please post or email and I will sort when I get back next week.
