Thought I'd mention that Richard has asked me to try and get some pics of the convoy starting from the Hinckley Island hotel, I'll be staying there on Saturday night with my beautiful assistant and better half (have to say that, she's watching...), might be a good opportunity to squeeze some photo's of any Ultima's that are also staying at the hotel on the Saturday, can even try and organise a group shot at night if anyone's interested! Just for fun, nothing too serious!

Hi Richard I will have a nosey on Saturday at the area were parked and way in etc . Just checking plan on Sunday is still to leave hotel about 7 in morning heading for whitlebury hall hotel . To meet up with other owners that have made there own way to whitlebury hall hotel A sensible time frame would be helpful and a meeting point at the hotel grounds .to wait for the factory convoy . Just to save confusion . So we can then keep a close bunch to enter silverstone . The plans would be handy if also posted onto the ultima owners face book page So all aware . p

I would need to be up at 'god knows what o'clock' to be there for a 7.00am start!!! Any earlier is the day before, surely.

I am hopefully bringing a friend, so not sure staying at Hinkley is an option.

Is there anywhere nearer Silverstone that any left overs could join in? I have the same problem as Paul, I am Cambridge way and can't get away early enough to make the main gaggle?...

Seems there is 3 of us so far that the set off point ain't good for so how's about the main convoy turn off into silverstone village brackley rd A413 and meet up in the village to collect others at 8am its aprox half a mile diversion and would be safe to park as the main traffic will be on the dual carage way Not this road just a sugestions Been as its the first year

Sure, just let the factory know your combined preferred satnav meeting spot a day beforehand and we shall lead the convoy to you, arriving approx 8am. Depart Hinckley 7am.

That is one very slow convoy. An hour from Hinkley to Silverstone!!!

If you haven't had yours by Saturday morning I would get on the phone on Monday.

My tickets arrived . Car parking in a great spot also close go a cafe for text coffee etc . Looks like were in the space that I used to park the noble in at classic . Gonna sound mint going through the tunnel under the track one by one . I will forward a post code to factory / meeting point in silverstone village For tagging on go the main convoy

I will be at the hotel mid afternoon. The Ultima photographer Damian will be at the hotel as well for a few photos. As you can see from the thread there are quite few of us staying at the hotel and I'm sure we will end up getting together later.
