Replacement CV gaitors
Discussion
Hi
See page 9 of the forum under Next technical challenge - cv boot thingy from Renmure. I posted a replacement for the VW Bora which is better than the original as the large end is sealed into a metal collar and is a much better job. This is obtainable fromhttp://www.carsparesdirect.com/cv-boot-kit-c-41/vw-bora-1j2-1-9-1-8-2-0-2-3-driveshaft-inner-cv-joint-boot-kit-p-5228 and the grease I would recommend especially if you doing track days is also on there. Its from Redline and is available from a number of outlets including Demon Tweeks.

That recommended boot is still a concertina boot, I switched mine to the 'aero' style boots and never had a split since. I believe the factory are also recommending this style now. I'm in the US and got mine from Pegasus Racing, but it looks like they are available in the UK from Race Parts;
