G50's

Can anybody tell me if there is a physical difference in shape and size between g50 02 and g50 03? Not interested in ratios/top speeds just physical shape and size.

Mark but I can't help.

I do know that the G50/01 is considerably shorter than the G50/52.

Probably worth a call to the Factory. I am sure they will know.

Mark, Here are some links to photos. Yes, the G50/52 is a bit longer then the earlier G50s but not sure about the G50/50.

i have both.
g50.50 (or 00) is very short but 52 is very very hard, much stronger gear int. are also begger
52 also much longer

Speak to the Factory.
They have made different mounting brackets to cope with the different 'box lengths and mounting bushes so will know which bracket fits which 'box.

Steve and all question is re the cable shift adapter that I have for g50 02. A possible buyer is asking whether it will fit g50 03. from what I can tell from California motorsports pics the g50 03 was from a different production period and has the long back end with rubber donut. Completely different from my G50 02!
It appears that my system will only fit G50 00, 01, 02
