What a day - IVA passed with Christine (the Ultima) yet again attempting to de-rail what had started as a perfect day. A massive thanks to Racing Roj for donating one of his Ultimas organs (mirror switch) after mine failed during the test. Just registation and she'll be on the road

Congrats!!

I can't even begin to say how fortunate I feel to not be facing anything like the IVA ordeal here in Florida. Still, we do what we must, right? :-)

Why are you online? Get out there and drive that gorgeous new car!

I would if I could Ken but over here we have another hurdle known as the DVLA to get past and register the car before I can drive on the road - thats my job for tomorrow

Congrats!

Don't let DVLA f**k you around by saying they need to see the car, they don't.

I have a letter stating they don't if they try it on. When I passed I got a letter saying they needed to see it, so got all my docs together, plus the letter I mentioned above, went to local dvla where it was registered on the spot, temp plate letter issued and job done!

Cheers and Thanks for the tip - thought the registration forms would be on-line, schoolboy error as they have to send them to you - 7-10 day turn around - on the bright side it'll get the latest plate lol

Only took 2 years but 3 months of that was waiting for the VOSA date - I think you are being a little unfair, especially as Christine has special needs and needs to be treated just like a woman, no slapping the bytch, a little tlc hurl
