RS4 V8 build help needed

HI Ultima forum guys,

I've fitted an RS4 (B7) V8 with O1X gearbox to my rear-mid mounted spaceframe.
Though not an Ultima build, it shares a huge amount of similarities to your Ultimas.
I am in need of someone (a specialist) who can get this thing running, driving and stopping. Since the Ultima is closest car of it's nature, I reckon an Ultima builder could do it.

Anyone around Northants?

That pic has no roofline/windscreen frame as I removed it whilst the mechanical stuff was going on.
Also the body is sat in my garden at the moment!

Interesting project. Are you using a stand alone ECU management or are you using the RS4 ECU and loom/clocks etc?

Originally a standalone ECU using a B6 S4 V8....
Then I got cocky and thought this would be clever(er)

I've been told it's nigh on impossible to get this engine running without standard audi management...

Ahh.... i presumed that megaquirt would/could work. turns out not.

Rs4 ecu and loom it is then.

Curious. What makes you think it won't run on stand alone management? The fact it's direct injection? Something like one of the syvecs units should be able to. They even do packages for the R8 and other vag group direct injection engines

mrc tuning could get that running for you. They specialise in audi engines and have build an rs6 bi turbo engined ultima. Im not sure they would take on such an openended job but you can always ask.....
If money isnt an issue they sell supercharge kits for those engines too

I've emailed them this evening. I saw the Ultima RS6 project they did. If anything this should be easier as I'm not using any forced induction.
