jmwram]i think the intercooler rads are each side of the rad air intake [small grills said:
,radtec would make a rad with a bigger core for not much more money,i know them quite well and there always developing rads and intercoolers for small companys so not to expensive also mainly in alloy.i have just upgraded to better flow fans 1160 cfm each and only 10" thats about + 1/3 more airflow each than was previously fitted and works a lot better .
Yeah that is a good point. Have you got any pics of the EVO heat exchanger rad(s)? I know AB mounted a thin rad that was the same size as the stock rad on their Whipple supercharged car.

if you check the evo pictures on the ultima home page there is a pic with the bonnet open and you can see a rad/inter/charge cooler

yep you are right. had a look at the pics of the EVO on the Ultima site and you can see a radiator mounted behind the passenger side front side vent (next to the rad opening).

I thought the spot sounded familiar. smile

Definitely where I live heat will be an issue. Not having an Ultima yet it's a bit hard to conceptualize what options there are for increased cooling capacity. I've read lots of the old threads on the subject, seems the factory have incorporated most of the common upgrades into the new standard config for the Evo.

Perhaps the biggest potential upgrade would be removing the dual fuel tanks, relocating to a single race bladder (behind seat seems the only option, but there are other benefits of a single fuel tank anyway), and leaving side pods clear for cooling (oil, charger, secondary rad, etc.). I guess that would nix the luggage spaces completely? On first thought I wouldn't want to lose that, but on second I doubt I'd ever convince the wife to take a trip in the Ultima long enough to require them. lol, it would be me in one car, her (way) behind in another! smile
