If you plumbed its correctly they should not lose air when key is off. Currently I'm doing some upgrades to my car and the battery has been out for nearly three weeks, shocks have not lost any air that I can tell.
about 10 sec to full lift and 3 sec to drop down back. I'll find out when I get back to NY to measure lengths of full compress to full height. Currently away on vacation with family .
