LT1 motor

Yesterday was the Grand National Roadster Show here in So Cal put it on your list of things to do if you are ever in California on the last weekend in January. Chevy was showing their LT1 crate motor, the picture shows the specs including the price. ECU is about $1200. They also mentioned the the 650 H.P. supercharged LT4 will be out shortly for about $18,000 plus ECU these motors are just a bit physically smaller than the LS, which if mounted with the axel outputs straight out should mean a slight bit more room behind the firewall which would be nice. I don't know if this would be the motor of choice here in the states but with your regulatory folks up your tail pipe in Europe perhaps this would be a great combination. Plus the gas mileage in a Ultima should be outstanding. Lee
