Who's going to Stoneleigh this year?
Discussion
I just drove the 400 miles home after spending most of the day there. Great to see folk and put faces to cars
I am not the best judge of good taste, but there were some fairly aesthetically "challenging" kits on show. The white Aston Martin(ish)badged car in one of the show halls was well up there. At the other end of the scale, the Ultima stand was as cool as could be expected.
I haven't been to the show too often but it seemed like it was a busy enough place. If I had a little corner of a garage spare then I think I would have a Stratos replica in it, especially a full rally-rep decaled one with all the lights. Hmmmm... wonder if I can move things around a wee bit

There are always a number of kits that are a real challenge to the thinking man's eye. I would suspect that the engineering is also a bit iffy too.I am not the best judge of good taste, but there were some fairly aesthetically "challenging" kits on show. You only have to look at some of the 'ladies' with full pushchairs to know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder (but alcohol makes a big difference).
I agree re the Stratos but it must have a V6 - pref a Ferrari V6.
A real car enthusiast would not let the size of his garage get in the way! Just build more space.

I so much like that line of thought. If only I had married you rather than the present Mrs R then I would have garages galore and (hopefully) a few less pairs of high heel shoes in the shoe cupboard Paul
No pics from me unfortunately (apart from one of a beautiful white Lotus Turbo Esprit with full oxblood red leather interior that was parked up in a field and looked as awesome as my first ever Lotus did)
