Great job...

Before:

Original Camcoat lasted a few years before it started to flake.

Took to Zircotec and went for their basic primary black, they didn't bat an eyelid at the state of the manifold or that fact that they had been previously coated - grand total of £523 (I picked up/dropped off as they around the corner from me..)

See how many years I can get out of this coating.

Blimey you're brave seems a lot to spend on a mild steel set of tubes, still I spose the fact that they are coated means they won't rust further.

Fantastic stuff by the way, shame it's so damn expensive.

Most of that flaking is caused by water thrown from the rear wheel and going through the gap between the inner wheel arch. Mine have gone in the same place so would not be surprised if your replacement suffer the same fate. Sorry.

Well,I am not a big one for driving around in the wet, so hopefully that will enble them to last a bit longer. Will have to see about shielding them from water - another little project smile
