Hi All,

This is probably a really daft question, but how do you wind back the handbrake caliper?

One side fits over the disk fine, but the other won't and can't see how to wind it back in.

And yes, the handbrake us down smile

I've never needed to do it but suspect it will be the same as modern calipers and needs a 'windback tool' which turns the piston at the same time as applying pressure.
Makers like Sealy, Draper or Silverline make a universal kit containing the various drive tools and clamps required.

I'm confused why it needs doing too. Other side was fine!

Thanks for info Steve.

Spoke to Dave at the factory - there are 2 small indents in the piston. Remove pads, insert long nose pliers into piston, rotate clockwise, piston retracts, sorted.

Simple eh smile

Thanks for the advice Dave.
