Gloss. satin or matte finished wheels
Discussion
Hi all, looking to purchase some Factory Evo wheels to go with the Evo upgrade kit I have ordered, but not sure whether to go for a black gloss, satin or matte finish or any other colour, grey / graphite for example. Car is the Factory red colour with black leather interior. Any ideas, any disadvantages with a satin finish? Please show us your photos of different coloured rims in different finishes to assist in making a decision. Many thanks, James Ult-Jim.
Many thanks for all the replies.
Satin Silver has been on my radar also good to know someone else has considered it.
Evo parts: new steering rack, longer steering arms, rose jointed suspension with longer front wishbones, therefore new wheels and tyres, lighter ali radiator and new fans to name a few.

I assume the radiator is no longer a vital part of the crash structure lol
It's interesting that so many existing owners change to the "Evo" wheels now too, when MacG have been selling them for years.
In fact, they've been selling all these parts for a number of years iirc, race proven too.
Back to the original post, imo gloss black looks wrong, sating black looks right, same with greys, works better as satin than gloss, silver works better as gloss.
If I had a red car, I'd go for a very dark, satin gold/bronze.

I gave Mac G a call before the factory supplied them, by the time I decided to buy the factory were supplying them (before the EVO was announced) and turned out to be a good few quid cheaper than Mac G.It's interesting that so many existing owners change to the "Evo" wheels now too, when MacG have been selling them for years.

What color is this? Is this a custom paint or one of the factory options of grey? Very hard to tell what the colors look like up close on the website.
