Morning gents, bit of a cheeky request, is there anyone around the west mids who owns an Ultima GTR that wouldn't mind showing me around their car/ possibly take me for a spin? I've been a huge fan of them for years now & hopefully in the next year or so I may well be in a position to build one (or buy, but that's another thread!)..

I can swap you a drive in a 911 turbo, but I suspect that it would probably feel slow! hehe

I would give the Factory a call and book a test fright with Ted.

You will need to generate a relationship with them for parts of for the kit.

Hinkley is almost west midlands!

I've been thinking about it for ages, just don't want to seem like a time waster as it could be a while before I can order a kit!

Hey don't be too hard on the 911 Turbo, I loved mine as a mile eater.
If I'm not mistaken I think Ted (factory) has one as a daily driver.

Oh and if you go for a factory drive the 911 will feel positively pedestrian!

I don't think you need be too worried about that. I had a 4 or 5 year gap between the test fright and having the funds to order the full kit. You won't get a hard sell from the factory so would suggest nothing to lose. I am sure they can tell a real time waster.....
