ciao a tutti,
I write here for some time, I feel I meet you all.

in italy there are a couple of gtr and on track none.
at least here I can talk to who has the same passion for my gtr. frown

I also wanted to thank at all here, because my total restoration (comletamente disassembled and sandblasted) and many modifies, you helped me a lot with various info and photos.

here there are very competent people.

Unfortunately, in Italy, rather, we understand not much of American technology. wink and there isn't many car parts.

Now after 9 months (it looks like a childbirth of a daughter laugh) I managed to make my first ride in a small local track.
my gtr still has some details to edit and finish, but I think I'm at a good point.

If you want to comment, I would like very much,.thumbup
of course, are also fine the bad comments but sincere and honest.
thanks again to all.

Wow Ste fantastico !! both inside and out awesome job clap
Are the triangular air intakes that stick up on the back of the rear clip, beneficial ? ( do anything ) they seem a bit far back to take any air to anything, I do like them
being critical and honest I would have put the lovely Ultima lettering on the narrow flat bit above the rear grill getmecoat

very impressive Ste, it looks great to me, do you know how much has the exhaust wrap has reduced the engine bay temperatures? I'm using the same intake manifold in my build, nice to see I have plenty of clearance

Many thanks at all bow
HIGHFLYER thanks for compliments .periscopes are divided in half: half of air to the engine and mid-air to the post brakes and I do not know yet whether it has benefited well as temp., but certainly.
for the back written, I have been inspired by Ferrari and emblem I invented.biggrin
ULTIMA unfortunately it does not have its official emblem and I do not understand why, since it is not a replica, but a supercar built and designed from zero.frownredcard

Adria is a short track (2700mt) but that much elevates the temp engine and brakes.
for now all under control.

XRTIM: thanks and yes wrap is very good and temp loss, but it isn't very nice to see......

I'm looking in italy an electric gearbox oil pump because in my opinion, is required.

I had some problems with the sponge inside the tank, after 15 years (2001)

for now the cv joints are ok, we hope.

I have some problem with the battery because in Italy, the small size are less powerful (60ah)

with airbox and compensator, so far I have not seen major benefits, but perhaps I have to try over 200kmh on track.

I have to thank for the aesthetic part Deadscoob who inspired me with his gtr, although I do not know if the air vents on the sides of clam (behind the wheels, in the video are not seen) really they serve to something.

Unfortunately, that day, after a few laps I had to raise accelerator because I took a meter long flames from muffler !!! laugh

so we have to map (megasquirt is ok) better.

I have many many problems with the alignment of bonnets between them: hot / cold sized constantly evolving.furioussmash

Brakes Porsche GT3 very good (huge difference but much more weight) than before.

I had to add a muffler (one) because too much noise.rolleyes

Now I hope to use it a lot on the track to understand what he needs and if all the changes I made are good
I'll also go on the dyno to really understand how many horses I .....

Xrtim,

With your turbos, I would highly recommend you get them and the manifolds coated with zircotec.

I was sceptical about the benefits, but it is incredible - almost like witchcraft lol.

After a 20 min session on a trackday in 28 degree temp, I could touch the exhaust literally within a few mins of coming in. The under clam reduction in temperature is huge. It's expensive, but very much worth it.

I'll be defo getting my exhaust Zircoteced when I get around to that stage of my build. This probably will reduce significantly secondary overheating issues.

Stefano, I really like the air-scoops on the rear clam. Do you have and photos of how it looks like under the cover?

XRTIM:before doing the treatment ZIRCOTEC (which is expensive) test with the high temp bandages that I used: very effective and inexpensive.
If this is insufficient Take the ZIRCOTEC, says deadscoob.

having opened several vents in all gtr, I hope to lower the temp in summer travel.biggrin

the problem is that at minimum rpm, very hot the entire engine and gearbox, over to everything else.

ULTIMA CH: I have no photos under the clam, but I can tell that you see a hole shaped like of a triangle divided into 2 parts by a " bulkhead" in gelcot (2 adjacent triangles means): one goes to the engine and the brakes.
