Don't see anything special about the red car.

Abbos is the nicest for sale by a long way at the mo IMO.

I think all you are wrong.
for me it is good even if the buyer can customize it.
think about how much it costs today, a gtr with ls7- 640 new factory ????
with just a few Euros you can modify to suit your needs.
Today the world of supercars is in a "bubble speculation" and prices are skyrocketing.
why not for the gtr ???
bah.

Does anyone actually own and drive a gtr that has no aircon - I've tried it and its not a nice place to be in the summer - maybe this cars just for winter - schoolboy error me thinks if no aircon getmecoat after build install will not be an easy job.
Where are you guys that you need aircon so bad, not the UK surely? I'm in Nevada and don't have A/C in any of my sports cars! Next you'll be telling us you need them little cupholder thingies and heated seats too!

laugh I think it would be ok in the UK if the windows opened - trust me that in the south of england in the summer (all 2 weeks of it) its a must - of course you can always adopt the uk gtr track day gear (photo courtesy of an outcasts hairdresser)

O.K. lets review, no aircon in a GTR I had a line fitting fail on my car one day when it was 110 degrees,it was 15 miles to the shop to have it fixed. I do not know how hot it got in the car but sweat was getting in my eyes to the point of it being a safety issue. Next issue when your head temp goes up your performance goes down. That's not an opinion that's a scientific fact. I know because I was the dummy err... test subject for NASA on that study. The results are online if anyone's interested. Knowing what I know, having flown non air conditioned helicopters over fires for all of my life in my mind buying a GTR with no A.C. IS A REAL DUMB IDEA. Installing A.C. in one after its completed would be a pain. just to settle the install issue, ask the factory for a quote on installing A.C. on a finished car. Lee

As a guide you would I think be looking at minimum 3k pounds not dollars (not that there is much between them right now) could be way out either way, for an after fit factory air con system, you need access under and above the dash, ideally with no screen in place drilling side ali pods to accept hoses and getting them through past the gear shift and wire looms when the engine, cooling pipes etc is in place would be a challenge.

Cheers Dom - so nearly didn't renew the add today as family and friends are saying I'd be mad to sell it - going to give it one more month and see what happens, nows not really the time of year to sell though.

Yours does look ace. What do you fancy replacing it with?

I love to chop and change cars but am struggling to think of what would give me the same "wow-ness" for the money.

It was originally to make space for an old Charger resto I'm planning to do - have enough space now but as I'd finally got used to the idea of selling I thought I'd see if there was a buyer - IMO bang for buck nothing comes close to the Ultima experience so a replacement isnt on the cards, I really enjoyed the build hence looking at the resto

Congrats Juno - the Ultima experience can be a little raw, a pity you didn't get to have a drive in mine - I moved from a Japanese GTR, a car that does it all for you to something that would really challenge me - also not wanting to be a dealers "cash cow" was high on my priority so bang per buck nothing came close to the Ultima - the Lambo is a nice car - enjoy clap

Yup but isn't that the point of Lambos?
To create a bit of controversy, they do like to shock, it makes up for their lack of racing heritage.

Think you are bit harsh since the looks are subjective, but at £240k it is hardly in the same ballpark as the Ultima in terms of price but I am sure it will be a lot of fun.

In saying that, I think of Lambos as almost being a caricature of a supercar so need them to have a bit more OTT looks with more vents and scoops and WTF-looks. So for me, a Countach or Diablo GT or even an Aventador Superveloce would fit the bill. I would settle for that colour tho.
