HI all

does anyone have any dimensions or plans for making a dolly. Little but too expensive to ship one over to the island...so have to make my own.

Use the biggest and best casters you can find/afford. That way you can build the car almost to completion on the dolly.

Depressing thought - I made that graphic 13 years ago! eek

Still, good to see it's still being put to good use smile

Any thoughts of building an Evo or has family life and costs put paid to another build?

Hi, I welded on some adapter pieces so the whole thing can be disassembled.
The photo sucks but you get the idea. Didn't want this big hunk to deal with when my build was complete

Did the same with mine which means it can be dismantled and the next builder can either pay postage or collect it in a daily driver.

My old dolly has come in handy for working on the latest project.

It's a bit short for the chassis at 26 feet long, and as it probably weighs about the same bare as a completed Ultima!

I love this type of recycling smile
