Someone think: "mate you are fool" but it's true: I don't need lowered floor and for me is only a problem.

First: I own a Can Am and I use here in sunny days.
Second: I am tall 5 foot and a banana.
Third: where I live it's easy to find bumps and downs really sharp.

I have think to remove lowered floor section that is welded only partialy at frame and create two alloy tub (thikness 3mm) holded with rivets and add two teflon strip ( section 1/2 inch square) attached to the frame (in case of contact with the ground).

On with the insults.
However, I love you laugh

at your height, why would you do it any different. Yes making an accommodation for a possible second owner would be insightful. At 6 foot 2 there are a lot of really interesting cars that I can't even get into for just a demonstration. I would play you in basketball though. Lee

I have found a reply:

When you want to run your Ultima on the road the lowered floor is good for a bigger cocpit, but when you like aero and want to run a flat floor you need to change to a flat floor. this you can see also here:

Note: You need also to reweld the engine section for real flat floor option.
