That's the timer I have purchased too. I haven't got my screen yet but have tested the wiring and it works.

So dash top vents not required for IVA if you have a heated screen?

The IVA requirement is a demist facility.
The tester may want to do something like squirt water on the screen to see if it evaporates.

I assume the relay and switch comes with the Evo loom and switchgear. I have the Ultima loom and my own switchgear which I why I had to source the relay and switch myself.

The heated screen and body are finally on the island

The screen wire connections are on the top part of the screen, one each side , so wiring has to be around the front roll cage.

My wires run up inside the glass fibre screen surround.

Bugger of a job to thread through and fit but oldest son and I managed to solder the wires, heat shrink them, while fitting the screen ourselves.

No water leaks either.... smile

Nice execution. I'll weigh this option up when I get back.

I've done exactly the same as Paul, nice and neat.

Visibility is fine - it's just like the ford heated screens, there are very fine elements running through that you can see if you look at them, but they effectively become invisible when driving.

Re a dentist test, if a tester squirted water in the screen I don't think either vents or heated screen will clear well, nor see any relevance to real world lol
Unless you live in an area where the inside of the screen can get squirted with water!

The heated screen dentists an entire uniform area, much faster and more effectively than the vents
