Ok. She is near enough complete now so here are a few snaps so you can see what I've created.
It started as a straight forward rebuild but I got sidetracked! There is very little that is not new and it has all been reconditioned if it came off the original car.
Please don't ask what it cost. I got to a point about 8 months ago when I stopped adding it up, but think new build cost.
I suspect some on here will not like what I have created but that's the beauty of building your own car. You do it how you want it.
I have learnt a lot as this was my first build/rebuild. The day I cut the hole in the rear clip was a big one!
I had help. The Factory, being able to supply everything I needed despite the fact the car is 12 years old. SS for supplying body parts and trusting me to fit them, for the exhaust and help and advice when needed. SR for his assistance with the wiring, he made it a doddle.
I have the dyno run still to do and a few changes to various things that can wait until the winter.
I hope to get to the Factory open day (if I am still welcome!) so you will be able to see her in the flesh.
BTW. The front lights are my own work so don't blame SS.
Let the comments flow.....

Hi
The interior looks great what kind of seats are they they look like you took them out of a Zonda.
The light mods dont come out well due to the grey colour think if you have the light suroundings I mean under the glass black will show more.
For the rest nice project well done
More pictures welcome on the interior

It looks somewhat like an offspring of the "Dark One"...
I certainly like the clear engine cover. Now that is original, but the air scoop doesn't seem to fit in with the rest. The rear view mirrors are tasty but could be exposed to a side swipe. Just my opinion though but you certainly did a GREAT job

Was it you who I met today Paul? If so, it was nice to briefly chat. Sorry I was a bit distracted, was quite an important shoot I was doing! Car looks great
Hi GeorgeYes, it was me. Don't worry, I could see you were rather busy.
That Maserati was stunning (and should be for what the bodywork had cost!!!) and it must be a real challenge to get the photos to look as good as the real thing. Sounded great too.
If you think you are going to be in the area again, get in touch as I may be able to help with a backdrop.

The air scoop fits over an air box with filters and only allows air from the outside of the car (hopefully cooler) into the engine.I certainly like the clear engine cover. The mirrors are electric and can be made to fold if knocked. I wanted something to give a better view with less head turning for track use. You can also see vehicles about 1/2 mile behind too!!!!!!

The person who did the interior did a stunning Job looks factory style it looks like you also did the inner door with leather that is great
and like the way you also did the area behind the seats
this stitching gives it a nice classic luxurious look
The local chap that did the trimming usually works on classic cars and he did exactly what I wanted (which was inspired by Pagani and Spyker cars).and like the way you also did the area behind the seats
