That is a SS special, modified front clip with the carbon wheel arch vents, beautiful job, and to top it all off a lovely colour combination, do you have the carbon rear defuser as well ?

Have you got any more info about what an SS special is? I've been a long standing Ultima fan but I've not heard of this before. It really looks great

Steve Smith is the Ultima Guru he can do anything for an Ultima from bodywork mods, suspension set ups, to engine fitments basically anything you require for your Ultima, that front clip mod enables you to have a fixed front splitter fitted so when you need access to the front bulkhead the opening of the front clip doesn't foul the ground. The sexy new lights and covers follow the lines of the bodywork and bring the front of the car into the 20th century imo

Spot on Russ. Steve used to work on the technical side at Ultima and is now freelance. Can't speak highly enough of his work. Best bit is he is a total gent and great guy to deal with. He builds one off cars from scratch including carbon tubs.

Yes & no..... The car belongs to a friend, just down the road from me. The vents were purchased from SS and he did do the front end with some help from Steve, but the actual mods were done by John himself. He managed to make the hinge / frame system to hard mount the splitter to the chassis & allow full clam opening without altering the chassis.... will be doing the same mod to my car soon, hopefully

The wrap was a surprise present from his son, moddled after a Mac F1 car from the 90's. It's very well done.

I've no idea what a "little guy pod" is, but as I said, John did the work himself, with some help from Steve in some areas. The wheel arch top vents are Steve's, John did the clam work and his own light, as well as his own chassis sub-frame, splitter, hinge, etc. Very impressive work!

The lights....I recall John saying Steve did the work for the front clam light mod, John added his own lights. So the profile is the same as mine, but with a different light arrangement.
