Ok, to put said record straight. It's not about who's got what, what it cost or what is best, as clearly everyone has a defined and different angle here, and in their own respective cases they are all correct.

Yep I would defo agree about the tiresome bit!! It did come across as a little grating, but it was not supposed to be. Given that any engine builder has a good or bad day variances will be found. The idea of the original post was to enable discussion on an open platform where we can all share and learn from our expreriences. However, engines (being as they are somewhat costly) are a sensitive subject - especially if my posting came over pear-shaped! SO for those that took that the wrong way I apologise.

I still feel however that the sooner we can poll all our collated information then the better we will be for it. Anyhow a little competition doesn't hurt if it brings prices down a bit does it?

Surely when American speed dynoed your engine they would have set the fuelling correctly; is the chasis dyno just inquisitve as to wheel horsepower as I can't see what other variables there will be since the car will be tested at a standstill and not moving?

I just had a brain-wave,
Why don't you get your engine dyno'd at American Speed once its finished.
Would probably be cheaper than CJ's rates anyway
