A Drain For The Cooling System
Discussion
It really bothered us that in a car with the prestige of the Ultima, that the only way to drain the cooling system was by removing a hose. Moroso makes an inline drain, but the inlet and outlets are the wrong sizes, so we came up with one.

It's located just after the firewall and attaches to the right radiator pipe. A 1/2" I.D. hose will fit on the drain cock.

Jack,
Nice idea.
I have what seems to be a similar type fitting for draining the water out of the water seperater on my air compressor.
Ive found that if the tap is over tightened, when you try to open it, the whole assembly unscrews from the seperater! You may want to "Loctite" (do you guys have that?) the assembly into the collar to prevent this.
