is there any reason your sticking with MAF's rather than going SD tune???

sounds like such a sweet setup. is it still a LS1 (with darton sleaves) or a LS7??

thanks Chris.

Hi Chris, Wortec/Monkfish are doing the ecu stuff so I don't really know what they are up to or why they want to try it this way. I know they want a silky smooth idle. Yes, it's a Darton block.

Interesting setup, Boosted. Can't wait to see the results. What is the time frame to get it to the engine dyno?

The goal was a wide powerband suited for track days, not max power. The Can Am is really limited on space. GT40's will not clear the hood at all.
With bigger turbos equal power at lower boost levels will be achieved. Compression is 8.8:1. Heads were not reworked. The best lap times will be achieved with 7 lbs of boost. Trans is a CMS GT2 six speed. With billet side cover and thrust button, which prevents the ring gear from pushing away from the pinion. Keep in mind these cars are very light, not much load on the trans.

Probably quite a while because the car is a Monaro (Pontiac GTO) and the last version split the spot welds in the rear arches using supercharged boost. This car is having major body modifications to stop it falling apart.
