Well done, good to hear the car is being used to the Max.

Your car is very light especially for a GTR, you even have 80+kgs advantage over me and my cars lighter than the normal GTR, would love to know were the weight was saved.

10.9 is impressive and comparable with road tyres, seems that I will have to get back and get a few runs in (I have only done two in the Ultima and I lifted on the second). My car was 99.5 at the 1/8th mile.

I'm not really interested in what mine can do with trick tyres etc... as its not comparable with the car on road and track.

Jeff 10.9 is an excellent time. l notice the new Ferrari Enzo is a miserable 11.1 so you have saved yourself a few bucks. There again the Enzo is 1700 kg so obviously overweight. Must be all those driver aids
l guess this summer will see some healthy competition either side of the pond.

very nicly done jeff. i know you're right about the ls1 block, i've been doing some research. i plan to build my own ls1/ls6 from scratch. for anyone thinking about the aluminum block option, the ls1 is the way to go. i've seen brand new ls1 blocks on ebay for under $600. compared to the version available for carburated chevy's at $4000, it's the best way to go.
