Hi folks! So that we don't drag this off-topic, I'll look for the old Bump Steer thread and resurrect it for discussion when I get home tonight smile

I'm seriously interested in accessing a trackday at Le Mans 24h circuit. Has anyone done it?
Best footage starts at 3:30

That was just the DB's. Didn't know they did the full Le Mans 24 on track days, book me in.

You will not get a track day on the full Le Mans 24 hour circuit and most of the southern end of the circuit is public road.
Within about an hour of the race ending the Mulsanne straight is open to traffic. It is quite a busy road.

Any track days have been limited to the Bugatti circuit. You still get to go up the pit straight and through the Dunlop bridge.

I stand corrected. But I think, looking at the other cars, that is connected to the Le Mans Classic weekend. I suspect there is an opportunity to drive on the track for a few laps over that weekend. Not really a track day though.

You may be able to book it for 2016.

I've not heard of a Le Mans track day before - but even though it's not the full 24 hr circuit, it's still a superb opportunity to drive a good section of such an iconic racetrack. I'd def. be up for it! Many years ago, in the early morning on the Saturday, before the historic race, just prior to the start of 24hr, they used to let one of the car clubs drive the circuit. Watching the Bentley Club in 2004 thrashing 2 tonnes of road machinery through the chicane at flat taps was a sight to behold!

The Bentley is no slouch but I loved the wait for it to cross the 'line' after you had blasted past.

My first track day in the Ultima and my first at Silverstone.

Couple of laps of the full GP back in June.

I had to watch that twice because I kept getting distracted by what looked like the oil light on most corners. I hope that wasn't the oil light.
Pretty nice cornering though. Looked good.
What was the red car that you moved over for around the 4 minute mark?
