Nice bit of driving... as you rent your drives, was this the same driver as at other rounds as he seemed very smooth, fast and flowing and very much at home in the car.
Not that the other were bad!

I was driving and I'm available for hire for a reasonable fee smile

A guy at the Midlands Breakfast Club this morning had a DJI Phantom quadcopter with Go Pro attached... some really cool footage captured, including a sweep across the Can Am smile

Was only discussing this with Mark today. Reckon filming cars on the bend up fish hill would make good footage.

Otherwise using the car park at Cheltenham racecourse, when empty, with the cars would be good.

According to how good your blagging skills are, I reckon you could talk Prescott hill climb into free use of their track in return for them being able to use footage to publicise the course wink

Hi Dave,

Actually - I only live a stones-throw from Prescott! I have been meaning to go and see them ref some private time, but I think they have strict rules since there are houses up there... we will see.

Cheltenham race course would be ideal, and maybe I will take a troll down there in one of their quiet times and see what can be done...

I have also contacted Long Marston a while back and they were happy for me to use their strip outside the weekend provided it was done with their knowledge, so maybe this is a good start - we could get together a few of us and spend an hr or two hooning around in a private session and take some aerial vids?

Roll on the better weather!

Any one up for this? Can't have too many unfortunately - otherwise LM just might say no... I can class it as a photo shoot!

Thought that would pique your interest Mark! tongue out

Steve - looks like you would have quite some way to get here? Is that right?
Those Vision 2's are great bits of kit - Been doing high-speed low passes with camera on - really fun, makes you want to put them biggles goggles on!
Pity there is no 'Wire-Shark' option yet (remote goggles)for this version... that would be awesome!

OK any other local owners interested? Then I will see if we can get a slot..

Hi Keith - it's not that bad a run for me - I'm very near the motorway - as for the vision 2 it's an awesome bit of kit - even had offers of money for pics of houses and a Marina (not the car olduns') - as for the journey I have a large PRG covered trailer so could always use that to transport the car.
