You know it makes sense! Any idea on power gains for this lot. I know the carb gives 10bhp due better breathing and cam maybe 20 bhp- anything else in the package!

All looks like a great package and look forward to the dry sump and see how it goes.
If we`see 50hp then that'll be good for me. Charles is gonna open up the header plates too as each one overlaps the head port by 3mm eek

Pete got to be the right time to go efi ?? after all most of your problems have been down too poor fueling !!!! can,t help thinking you will have the same issues even with a new carb although the new spec engine sounds very nice .

yep i agree

but for someone like Pete, shall we say an enthusiastic driver!!

the specs look great on the new motor but why not put that brass towards the LS conversion (Pete's ultimate goal)??

just my opinion but it is not any of my business so good luck which ever way you go, but hurry up we have trackdays to do in the near future.

Pete an LS7 conversion at a reasonable price is still possible if you dont mind doing a lot of the work yourself, i bought my LS7 second hand, low milage, from ebay. it cost me £8000 inc delivery and import tax. if you dont fancy that theres always brand new LS2 engines available in the uk for even less, giving you lot of bang for your buck.

We've done LS2, LS6, LS7 conversions since 2002 and have all the necessary bits including STAINLESS headers.

Lucky

I just stumbled onto this from the HPC link I posted before,
http://www.comeracing.com/

427cc built LS1 for 11k £ ($25k au) forged pistons, billit crank and rods, cant see any mention of dry sump

edited to add, no conection to me, but about 5km up the road if you want any further info.
