im with you.. hes only ever posted in the ultima forum, has never attacked anyone elses comments, and the whole part of a ultima/kit car is you can have what YOU want..There is alot of 'full of themselves' people on PH lately.
Personally i like to see new people in the forum.. maybe they have new ideas? rather than the same old same old.. lets not scare people off shall we eh?

You'll find most forums elicit a similar response when people don't bother to search the forum before jumping in. In most cases we all still respond to these questions, because most of the time they are asked tactfully, and with respect, and because someone is trying to make a decision to buy or specify. Its the hot air bags that get the slap.
In this case he lives 70 miles from the factory and is too busy to go... and I gather from a prev post that someone offered to bring their car around for a drive/ride and he's also too busy for that.There was also an early comment about Jeff's car "Ive seen it, sounds aweful but quick".
I wouldnt expect to stroll into a forum, ask questions that have been asked a 1000 times and slag off a car that's brought Ultima to the headlines in the USA many times, that I've "seen" on youtube, not bother to go see the factory if it was so close and not accept a ride if someone offered... without expecting some flack.
Its a public forum so he's entitled to stay, watch, contribute as he likes.... he's just better off searching before asking, and thinking before asking silly questions. Works the same in the real world as the www
If he's old enough to drive he should know better... if he's not old enough to drive he should learn to be more tactful.

Ah fcuk it, Leo if you are anywhere near Cheshire drop me a mail and you can come and check over the Ultima to see if your 15" woofers, and your big mean ass 1000BHP engine will fit, and where you would fit the Audi air vents along the front edge of the screen or set them back and what ever else you plan, choose a decent day and grab a ride, After reading Lucky, V8 owner and Craftys thread, I have seen the light, even going to church on sunday, am going to chill out from now on, and look on the positive side of life, Kyle maybe you could do the same ? shall see you sunday at st mathews for 10 am service, peace be with you Bro.

Hang on.... I was on your side... It was Lucky and V8 Owner that went all soft. I turn my head for 5 minutes to grab the tar and feathers and now you've turned to the dark side too!!!
Remember, God has 72 virgins waiting in heaven for us martyrs. Now that Lucky, V8 Owner and Highflyer have gone all soft there's 216 spare virgins.

Subwoofer is behind the passenger seat, then 4 speakers, 2 at each side; Radio is fixed with special dampers beneath the roof in the middle... (couldnt find a pic)

Thats brings the magnet very close to the fuel tank. also it looks fitted in a slight angle

I'm sure you're genuinely enthusiastic about one day owning an Ultima, but from your posts, it does just seem to be a dream at the moment.
No problem with you contributing to the forum, but please don't clutter it up with useless threads that have little basis in reality.
Of course, if you place an order with the factory then the neigh-sayers will all have to eat a considerable slice of humble pie.
Alas, until you do, they have a point.

My 16 year old step son also dreams of Ultima ownership but he doesnt post loads of dumb ass questions which to be honest upset and annoy people.
I think, as im sure most of us have done he needs to build his way up through the car ranks i dont think jumping from a Corsa to an Ultima is a great idea!!
I, as im sure a lot of others did bit my tongue for a while but why should we all have to be PC??

In my ultima I cant hear anything except the engine and wind noise... Can your seriously hear the music to any degree of true sound? I use an Ipod with ear buds which works fine.... but is it worth all the effort to fit sound??
