That's about a £15k premium over a home built one??
Gary, have you sold your car???Will report back on their verdict at the end of March.
It will be interesting to compare their attitude now I am a seller and not a buyer!!
Do you think it will be the same?

Gaz, Who brought it? was it a scottish guy?
No, it's a very nice chap from the south coast I did get a call from a Scottish guy last week, but he wanted to view it on a day when I was not available. Didn't hear from him after that!
It says sold on behalf of owner and the wheels look std to me not the ones with the shallow offset which you need for the rose jointed suspension !!!! funny how when i asked if the factory could help sell my Can-am they said its not the sort of thing they do guess it must be me !!!

I dont think you want to go into fine details about who messed about who Jeremy, however, we'll start at the beggining so everyone else knows the full story shall we!
I replied to the add on Pistonheads for an Ultima GTR which was a yellow 02 plate with a 6.3 Litre AMERICAN SPEED engine with 450bhp. As we were in England that day we had arranged with Jeremy to see the car. When we arrived it was just getting dark so we couldnt have a particularly good look however at a glance everything seemed OK.I Phoned Jeremy the following evening and we agreed the price of £33,000 If everything was OK with both car and paperwork e.t.c when collecting. We organised the pick up of the car for Wednesday 20th Feb. At the same time I phoned The Ultima factory for any information on the car. When I spoke to Ultima (The person I spoke to at Ultima was /removed/, by the way, If you feel the need to check) they said the ad had been misrepresented and then advised me to buy another car also advertised on pistonheads which just sold for £31,500, however, they did say the car was built OK, however the ad was misrepresented as it said the car was fitted with an AMERICAN SPEED engine. I then phoned Jeremy and he had said ' It must be a mistake on Ultimas part' as he had an invoice for aforementioned engine. So with that Information I organised the money for the car and travelled down with the van and trailer. When I arrived it turned out that the paperwork from Ultima for the engine failed to correspond with the block number on the engine which was in the car. I then spoke again with the Ultima factory and they then said that the Invoice wasnt from them. Jeremy then phoned the previous owner and builder of the car whose wife told him that she was SURE the engine didnt come from Ultima. With these facts I then offered Jeremy £31,000 for the car, which he refused. In conclusion I cost me One day off work, £220 costs and a 720 mile round trip and £14 for a bankers draft. So now you decide who 'messed who about.....something chronic'
Sorry about the rant however I hate dealing with INCOMPETENCE.
Cheers. Scottish Guy.
P.S.
Im still looking for an Ultima GTR so If your selling one and your paperwork is all correct and your ad isnt misrepresented then let me know as the cash is waiting. Oh, and If your also looking for one beware of this one.
cheers.
