I've just got my hands on my first Ultima (YES!!!) and am keen to start doing some track days. Before I head off into the sunset I'd like to get a Chevy engine expert to give it the once over as I'm no engineer. I live in Wiltshire so can anyone suggest a good person/firm who knows the cars and engines and can be trusted to check it thoroughly before I go playing? I did contact the factory but they can't see me until 4th December.

FYI, it's the silver Spyder that was advertised on here... factory built in 2000.

Thanks in advance and look forward to meeting some of you at future events.
Dom.

Thanks for the info Steve and the reassurance Paul. I'm just starting to get used to the power and sheer grin factor of this car and I'm astonished everytime I open the garage door and it's sat there :-) I know it's a 'low power' one by comparison with some, but I'm reliably informed that it keeps up with most in the hands of a good driver ;-)

Next plan after the engine check over is a track day with an expert to learn how to really get the most out of this toy!
