Ultima owners in the southwest?

Call me keen and enthusiastic if you will, but being new to Ultima ownership I just feel the need to speak to others about it. With that in mind, are there any Ultima owners in the south west of England? I'm near Devizes in north Wiltshire and would love to arrange a spontaneous gathering (even if there are only 2 or 3 of us!) and learn a bit more about the cars and the best places to drive them... the roads around my area are in appaling condition!!!

It might even be an idea to arrange a BBQ if there are enough of us and the weather holds for a little longer... I do have access to a few active and dissused airfields which would serve very nicely as a place to meet... quietly of course ;-)

I have sent off my owners club application but not heard back yet....

I am in the southwest , down in Devon , but the car is not finished yet , give about a month or so and I should have it finished if all goes well .

The Devizes to Avebury road, one of my favorites good for at least 180+mph ... and no cameras

Very true Gman; unfortunately they've been setting up mobile units there more and more often. They usually stick them out the back of a van parked near the turning to Yatesbury in a layby on the opposite side of the road. The day to avoid is Wednesday's as that's biker night at the Red Lion in Avebury and they know that stretch of road is a winner when it comes to points and fines ;-)
