I know this subject came up several months ago, but since the CanAm will make it's first track debut in 2 weeks, I'm wondering what cold tire pressures are being used. We're using Pirelli PZero Rosso's, which should be close to Goodyear.
Shock settings (Ultima Shockers)would be helpfull too as a starting point.
Thanks
Jack

The Goodyears have super stiff sidewalls. I'm running 18 psi front and 20 psi rear. Been on the road race track once. Seemed ok.

The factory suggested a lower pressure than 18/20 on the track. This is what I run on the road and found this high on the track. I believe they suggested 16/18 for track use.

On the MkIV Sports, we run 20 clicks on the Intrax shocks against 10 as standard and to be highly controversial, I run 22 psi at the rear and 24 at the Front on 18 inch rims (SO-2's). Have tried other settings but for the Nurburgring this is what we use.

Dave and Doz
thanks for the info.
On my shocks, I count 46 clicks. Have been driving at half way, 23 clicks.
When you say you run 20 clicks, where are you starting?
I'm assuming that when the dial is rotated fully clockwise, that's full hard.

From full soft (anti-clockwise) I used the Factory recommended clockwise 10 clicks for the road and 20 for the track. When first installed by the factory they came back at +50 clicks which was bone shaking!!

Not sure what is actually adjusted whether it's bump or rebound or a combination - anyone know??

Dave.

I believe mine have 70 clicks and the factory said 45-50. That's about half way so you're right.

Its a combination. The ratio of bump/rebound is set by the small screw at the bottom of the dampers. Don't have any docs as to how much you can adjust, which way, etc.
