Hello All!

A colleague has purchased a wheel manufacturing company and is now asking all types of questions about our stock wheels, which I can’t answer. Search isn’t too much help on this topic, although I believe this has been covered in multiple threads on multiple occasions.

Might this be a good sticky?

Does anyone know the full specifications of our wheels? We should gather information such as material composition (6061-T651 or 2024-T351?), weight, hole pattern, center hole size, back spacing, lug nut spec, stud spec, number of assembly bolts and specs, etc…

If we can gather the data, I will do the compilation and make a CAD drawing with a spec sheet containing all of the information to post for those who may wish to order some to their liking.

That is indeed a good idea. It was only a short while ago that this question was asked AGAIN and a fair bit of info was posted. I am sure it was within the last 10 pages at least, maybe something to get you started thumbup

Does he produce or have a source for a stainless steel version of the factory wheel nut?

I'm looking for a set.

Rear Rim specific;

Rim width; 13 inch
Backspace to inner flange; 8.25 inch
Backspace to outer rim edge; 8.75 inch
Offset; 3.25 inch
Center hub mating face to wheel spoke depth (Caliper clearance); 0.9 inch

Front Rim Specific;

Rim Width; 8.5 inch
Backspace to inner flange; 4.75 inch
Backspace to outer rim edge; 5.25 inch
Offset; 1 inch
Center mating face to wheel spoke depth (Caliper clearance); 0.45 inch

I would recommend some else check the front Offset's as when I measured the factory rims there was no offset on the front same dim to outer as inner rim from mounting face, and that's the offsets I used when i ordered my Image rims. If I had any more offset to the outside I would have rubbed the wheel arch all the time.... SO please some check that....

Plus ET offset figures are half the difference between the inner and out distances, ie, the amount the dead centre line of the wheel has moved.

So Fronts I had where Zero ET Rears where 1.75" ET but please someone else confirm this.....

This is a great reference. Crafty called it. Between RussF's link and Clive's info, there's our sticky on wheels. We need to add the stud and nut info, wheel weights - front and rear, and materials. Who's the sticky manager these days?

Agreed. Crafty has been known to have a good idea every so often.

He produces...full CNC shop. Let me see what I can find out, Steve, and I will post back on a new thread - Stainless Lug Nuts. He's traveling 'til Tuesday, or so. Running his drag car to 316 mph in 4.59 seconds in the quarter.

Hey, Kyle. It's a long story. Closed a business, got hired, layed off, hired again. I had lots of time to find a job, but no extra funds. Now, I have no time AND no extra funds. Anyone hiring? I could use a couple of extra jobs!

Scott,

I originally posted the wheel dims and I'll check the measurements once more. I have a spare set of factory rims sat here that will have slicks mounted mid next week, but if your guy is local Reno he can borrow a front & rear for a couple days to take all measurements for himself.

Thanks, Joules. Unfortunately, he's in SoCal.

Of course. I didn't think to look there.
