It appears that we have a free weekend when the Carlisle Kit Car show is on in Carlise Pa., May 21-May 23. If it looks like it will be rain free for 2 of the 3, and they're back to back, we're thinking about driving the CanAm the 400 miles to the show. Since Ultima is already planning to be there, there's not much fun in loading our car in the trailer and towing it there, so we'll only be there if it can be driven without a top, since we don't seem to have one.
Will look forward to meeting some of the members of the New US Ultima Club if we make it.
At Carlisle, there is usually the cream of the kit car industry, and I look forward every year to re-aquaint with the many friends I've made these past years since I've been involved in building and racing.
We'll update our intensions as the date gets nearer, and the weather forecasts become available.
