A fantastic Sunday however a few niggles at the circuit; we were not allowed to take in drinks but all of the vendors near us ran out of water and in that heat that's crazy and quite dangerous. Also queing for food took too long and once at the front we found out they had run out; so a long day without food & drinks. It's a good job some guys were selling water in the car parks, a big thankyou to them. Public transport to get out of the circuit was a joke, no signs anywhere to tell you what to do & no taxis available, very poor organisation. All this needs improving for next year.

Maybe it'll be better to rent a bike next year, does anyone know where this can be done in KL?

Crowd was around 60K, much the biggest crowed I've ever seen, it has been as low as 5 K. Public transport to Sepang is not an option in reality, best bet is to get a taxi, between 4 or 5. Bike hire is not possible in Malaysia, I don't know any one who does it. As I understand it not allowing in food is a requirment of the License holder not Sepang Circuit, it is the same for FI. I've started a topic on Msportbike.com forum on what/how to change next year, much more likley to be read by Sepang Management than PH, log on and add your bit.
I think the size of the crown caught them out abit, as there were more food vendors this year, and a better choice

I just want to be able to buy something MotoGP-related. You know, a Rossi T-Shirt with a big number '46' on it. Something like that. But again, this year, there was nothing like that. I mean come on, who goes to a MotoGP event with the sole intention of buying a Petronas branded baseball cap? Noone, unless you have some sort of weird Petronas fetish, of course! But in the course of my wanderings, random items with nothing to do with MotoGP were all I could find.

After 10 years of the premier class racing in Malaysia, you think they'd have got it sussed by now...
