Hi there looking for some advice, basically we have moved into a new flat and currently have a TV in the living room with Sky+, PS3, Dvd system all connected to it.
We have just purchased a Tv for our bedroom and I was looking at getting a Digisender as we have no aerial and I can not justify the cost of Multi-room.
The aim is that the missus can watch her soaps on the tv in the bedroom whilst I play the PS3 or watch a DVD in the living room.
I guess I need to know will the digisender plug into the Sky+ box or the tv?
If I am playing the ps3 on main tv that sky is hooked up to can she still watch sky in the bedroom or will it 'beam' the PS3 images to the bedroom?
Sorry for being thick, and poor smile

It will only broadcast whatever is plugged into it.

We've got one & without checking exactly what connections it has, we have the sky box plugged into it which gets sent to the kitchen. If I play the x-box on the main tv, sky still gets sent to the kitchen as that's what the digisender is plugged into.

If you can pull a couple of cat5 cables you'll get much beter results.

You're going to have to do a little reading but that's ok as it's fascinating stuff smile

Have a look at this http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f... me an HDMI splitter and d some Googling/Wikipediaing for "home ethernet networks"

ETA You don't have to have a wired home network for the above to work, just some CAT network cable between the relevant bits but as you asked about CAT5 you may as well learn what you can do with it smile
