TV in a conservatory
Discussion
Need recommendations on a 50" TV that'll sit in a large conservatory.
Reflective glare is the main issue; any brands to look out for, or avoid?
Currently got a Pana 42" plasma which is still going strong after 5+ service but fancy a change.
Budget aroung £700 doesn't need to be all singing all dancing.

The Panasonic plasmas are good with reflection. With my previous tv when it was sunny outside it was like watching a mirror. With the 58" pan I never notice reflections.
You real problem is going to be sound. All flat screens sound like crap and you are putting one in the worst acoustic place possible. It might be worth buying a sound bar to give yourself a chance

I've got a Yamaha Sound bar, but to be honest that sounds even worse, even with the fancy automatic setup feature it just sounds odd, but thats just the acoustics of the room I guess.
TBH the panasonic we've got at the moment sounds ok.
Just want something thats handles glare and direct sun light a bit better.
