you can get 'pass through' powerline adaptors like this although they are more expensive.
That's as expensive as the Sky anytime wireless adapter, which is all I want it for.

My Sky HD box is nowhere near my router, so at the moment I dont have Anytime enabled. I was going to look at getting the Sky wireless adapter but it seems a lot of money at £60.

So, first question. Will Anytime Plus work over a couple of Ethernet powerline adapters? I may be able to acquire two for not a lot of money if that will solve my problem.

If that wont work, or I can't get the powerline adapters, is there a cheaper alternative to the Sky adapter? Would a generic USB or Ethernet wireless adapter work?
Did you get this sorted?

I've only just got Sky installed and don't fancy cables across my lounge

Unfortunately not, I was given the adapters but one was broken.

I finally got around to phoning Sky and asking them to enable this for me. I've got Sky broadband, but i'm using a Netgear router and a couple Netgear powerline adaptors to the Sky box. All works, but it's not that great a service :-)

Cheers. Ordered one. Now we'll see how long a HD movie takes to download at 8Mbps!
