As a variation on the theme... posting YouTube clips to demonstrate how good kit is... this one sounds great although maybe a little too much toe in?

I'm not convinced by their imaging qualities or bass extension https://youtu.be/L6Hpr6pFYzI
Probably toed in about right for the listening position of the owner's 4yr old lying on the floor watching CBeebies, though.

This always amuses me..https://youtu.be/L6Hpr6pFYzI
Quite how a compressed Youtube video, probably captured on a device with limited audio bandwidth, is going to demonstrate how good the systems sounds escapes me...

Its a bit like TV adverts for TVs - you can just see the better picture quality, especially the more vibrant colours Quite how a compressed Youtube video, probably captured on a device with limited audio bandwidth, is going to demonstrate how good the systems sounds escapes me...

Why do most of the guys with hundreds of thousands of $$$ worth of kit have such ugly carpets and rugs?
They were very expensive and the salesman said being expensive would make their lounge sound better.Edited by GravelBen on Sunday 2nd July 11:20
I also find wearing blue makes my hifi sound better. And having a centre parting.

Well there is room for improvement on a standard network card, for example I have an Intel Pro 1000 and can hear very slight chirping on the analogue outputs when it's under heavy load. Some kind of interference. However, £400+ ?! you must be pulling my plonker! http://www.digitalaudioreview.net/2017/06/jcat-ann...
Their claims are hilarious though
"Industrial grade components with operating temperature range from -400 to +850"
oh that's handy for when I'm listening to music in my freezer then

Clearly a misprint/display error since -400C doesn't even exist (it's below absolute zero). They mean -40C to +85C, which is the standard industrial temperature range for components, but the degree symbol appears as an extra zero.Their claims are hilarious though

A rather pointless brag however, since industrial temperature grade components are in no way exotic or expensive and are pretty much used everywhere these days.

Lol, I hope this is a joke.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but no it's not a joke. Why would it be? I can try and record it and post it up if you like? Mr2Mike said:

Ah, I thought they meant Fahrenheit in any case, however I just meant it was a useless thing to list as a point of interest.A rather pointless brag however, since industrial temperature grade components are in no way exotic or expensive and are pretty much used everywhere these days.
