Wifi speakers Home system setup options

Went round to a mate and he showed me his Sonos Wireless Hifi Setup, simple but effective I thought

Had a Playbar for the TV and then a couple of Play 1 dotted about in other rooms like kitchen, reception etc. He then could control music from his phone and either play all the same music or different music in each room.


Are there alternatives to Sonos to something like this?

There are lots of very good wifi speakers out there.

But if you want multi-room then Sonos is the way to go. Nothing else comes close.
Ridiculous easy to setup and expand. It just works beautifully.
