I'm considering something like the above, predominantly for movies, but also or streaming music from my phone.

I currently have an old separates set op for the audio, but we are moving soon and I'm under pressure to consolidate our AV/audio equipment.

I'm no Hi Fi buff, but do like a decent sound quality.

Any thoughts on how these types of units work with music?

What phone do you have.

IMO Bluetooth while probably good enough isn't brilliant for HiFi. You might be better off with either Airplay for an iPhone or DNLA for an Android phone.

I have a HTC One, I know it has NFC, but not sure about DNLA?

I've recently bought a new 48" LCD Panasonic TV and got this as part of the deal at £250 (or thereabouts) and I'm pleasantly surprised how good it is - sounds better at home than it did in the shop.

Simple to use, connection is a doddle and it sits neatly in front of the TV.
